Easily create calendars, cards and beautiful books with iPhoto

Show that special someone how much you really care with beautiful custom books, letterpress cards, calendars, or prints of your memorable times together. Learn how to make cherished gifts and keepsakes with iPhoto on your Mac, with our popular hands-on 3-hour workshop class.

If you've got a Mac and a digital camera, you may already have discovered the basics of importing, organizing and editing your photos with iPhoto. iPhoto can help you do more with your photos than you ever thought possible, but all these features aren't that useful if you're not sure how they work. Are you ready to go beyond the basics? This hands-on workshop class at MyMacDealer will show you how to get the most out of iPhoto '11.

If you're like most of us, having a digital camera means we're taking more photos than ever before, and it can be tough to find the photo you want. We'll be demonstrating how to organize your photos using keywords and ratings, and showing you some tips and tricks for managing large photo libraries with ease.

In addition to being Apple Specialist, our instructor is a photographer with many years of experience managing large photo collections.

This class fills quickly, and makes a great gift.

New to iPhoto or Mac?

No previous experience is required. If you're new to iPhoto, we'll cover all of the basics. If you've already got some experience with iPhoto, you'll gain valuable new tips and techniques.

What you need to bring

While we'll be demonstrating using the latest version of iPhoto '11, even users of iPhoto '09 will benefit from this workshop. iPhoto is typically included with every new Macintosh- please contact us if you're not sure what version you're using. You will require at least iPhoto '09 to participate. Please contact us for more information about upgrading. Some features may not be available in earlier versions of iPhoto.

If you have a MacBook or MacBook Pro with iPhoto '11 or iPhoto '09, please bring it to class so that you can follow along. (sample photos will be supplied). If you cannot bring your Mac, just let us know and we'll have one ready for you to follow along in class.
